What’s Cooking? 9/24/12

Well the air was cool this past weekend, I think fall has arrived in Ohio!  Soon there will be beautiful colored leaves falling from the trees! Has your weather started to turn cooler yet?

As a quick reminder, we like to keep our meals simple, often times you can make them ahead and even store some meals in the freezer!  We focus on recipes that are adaptable; for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike!


This is a great dish that you can eat any time of the year!  Summer or fall, you name it!  Its fresh and packs a flavor punch!
Its breakfast for dinner!  Whawhoo!  We love this day of the week!  I’d pair these easy muffins with a side of scrambled eggs and fresh fruit!
WednesdayEggy Potato Salad served in homemade tortillas
Let get ourselves through the mid week by enjoying the best eggy potato salad, you will have ever tasted!  We love this dish as a side dish and also as a wrap!  So get out that Better Batter flour, whip up some tortillas and make some YUMMY wraps!
Thursday–  Pizza Casserole
This dish mixes some of my favorite things!  I love casseroles, they are easy to prep for my family!   And of course, I love pizza!  Who doesn’t?  :) This is a fun dish that is very adaptable for the entire family!  It would be an easy dish to add meat to!
To celebrate Fridays, we keep our Friday dinner plan simple!  This week we are having Beans on Toast! Now it may be simple, but its full of flavor!  It reminds me of a sloppy joe!
