What’s cooking? 10/7/13

Welcome to  Vegetarian Mamma‘s What’s Cooking! I hope that your week is starting off great!  We have been enjoying the transition into cooler fall weather!

As a quick reminder, we like to keep our meals simple, often times you can make them ahead and even store some meals in the freezer!  We focus on recipes that are adaptable; for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers alike!


MondayVegan Alfredo
This is some serious YUM!!  My friend Pam over at I’m A Celiac shared this awesome recipe for alfredo!  If you want to make the pasta the star of the dish, try making your own pasta!

TuesdayVegetable “ramen” noodles with  cookies

Ah, ramen noodles…does that bring back college memories?  I was so super excited to find this recipe! It was easy, delicious and gluten free!  I know you will enjoy it!

WednesdayEasy Breakfast Sandwich

At our house we love breakfast!  Whether its for a lazy weekend morning or breakfast for dinner…its always a HIT at our house!  This open face breakfast sandwich is a crowd pleaser!

ThursdayBBQ Bean Burritos made with homemade tortillas

OH, yum!  This is a great dish to warm your body!  You will love how the flavors come together!

This is an easy sandwich recipe to get your started for your weekend!  You can use GF buns or served this on yummy homemade bread!  Be sure to use that Better Batter when you make your buns or bread!
