The Week’s Good Eats- Week of February 4th

I really can’t believe we are already in February!  Can you?  It’s going to be spring before we know it and secretly I’m hoping it comes quickly.  Typically, I love winter but this year I’m just itching to get outside and start our garden!

Do you garden?  I am looking forward to growing our own produce to use in delicious recipes throughout the year especially during the summer time and grilling season!

In the meantime though let’s enjoy some of these winter dishes!

Monday–  Start Monday off with a batch of Cranberry Orange Muffins perfect paired with a delicious cup of coffee.  Then, for dinner enjoy Slow Cooker Cinnamon Kissed Chicken with a mix of your favorite veggies!

Tuesday–  Next up, on Tuesday make it a soup day with a bowl of French Onion Soup served along side your favorite Gluten Free Baguette.  We are enjoying the new Udi’s baguettes!  If you prefer homemade bread, use this recipe for Better Batter French Bread.

Wednesday–  Wednesday, pull out the slow cooker for this Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast.  It is the perfect mix of flavors for the winter season.  I like to serve ours with carrots and potatoes!

Thursday–  Utilize the leftover Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast to make Roast Beef Sandwiches with gluten free bread or top the roast beef over a warm baked potato with all the fixings!

Friday–  On Friday enjoy a home cooked meal with this Oven Fried Chicken.  We love to eat our Oven Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.  Remember Friday is a good night for dessert and a batch of S’mores Brownies will do the trick!
