The Week’s Good Eats- Week of August 5th


S'mores Ice cream Cookie Sandwich

It’s Back to School month in our area!  All the kids are gearing up to go back to school!  Of course, I’m gearing up to cry my eyes out when my little boy starts Pre-K!

I just cannot even believe it!  That means the last few weeks I’ve been testing out back to school recipes, which I’ll be sharing with you all soon!

I am very particular on my child’s lunch and I’m sure many of you are too especially if gluten allergies are involved.  So, I am testing out some gluten free recipes for back to school lunches!  Stay tuned!

This week let’s get on to the menu!

Monday- 

On Monday, it’s time to revisit an old favorite at our house with this Mexican Lasagna!  It’s a wonderful comfort meal that the whole family is sure to enjoy.

Tuesday-

Tuesday can be an easy night with this Slow Cooker Honey Ginger Chicken!  It may be perfect paired with Fried Green Tomatoes!

Wednesday-

Enjoy some Grilled Lemon Lime Pork Chops with a side of Warm Potato Salad, perfect on a summer evening!

Thursday-

Start the morning off with some Baked Vanilla Doughnuts!  Then, for dinner serve up Cheesy Chicken and Rice!

Friday- 

On Friday, it’s time for a Grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza…save room for dessert!  For dessert, enjoy a S’mores Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich.  Yes, I said that correctly…they are amazing!

Ready for some yummy food?!  It’s going to be a delicious week of good eats!
