The Week’s Good Eats- Week of April 1st


Happy April Fool’s Day!

Do you do anything crazy fun for April Fool’s Day?  I guess I’m boring because really I’m terrible at jokes or practical jokes.  I may attempt to get my husband this year, but that means he’ll get me back…I don’t like that part!

Spring is quickly approaching and I sure hope the cold snap is behind us as we move ahead into the warm season!  I’m itching to get my garden and yard looking nice and green plus start cooking with my own fresh produce.  My husband is the gardener around here so when I say ‘I’…let’s just take that as meaning ‘him’.

Now, let’s get on to this week of good eats!

Monday- 

Start the week off by using up some of the leftover ham from Easter for this Dill Ham Salad!

Tuesday- 

On Tuesday, enjoy a meatless meal with this Baked Eggplant Parmesan.  Be sure and make a batch of garlic bread to serve alongside it too!

Wednesday-

Easy night on Wednesday with these Sloppy Joe Spuds!  Also, a perfect day to make a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Thursday- 

Thursday, have a family favorite with these Taco Salads!  These are perfect for little fingers plus easy to make to order with your favorite taco toppings!

Friday- 

Fire up those grills and enjoy what will likely be the best steak you have ever tasted!  These Grilled Rosemary Lemon Steaks will simply melt in your mouth!  Finish it off with a slice of Banana Bread for a little tasty dessert.

That looks like some yummy meals to me!
